What this treatment is like
The back is where most people carry their week. This targeted massage works the whole back, from the lower lumbar area through the mid-back to the shoulders, using pressure matched to what each area needs.
It suits the desk-bound, the physically busy, drivers, and anyone whose back feels stiff in the morning or aching by evening. Techniques range from flowing strokes to firm thumb, palm and elbow work on the stubborn spots, combined with gentle stretches where helpful.
A 30 minute session focuses on the back alone. In 60 minutes the treatment can extend to hips, glutes and legs, which often contribute more to back stiffness than the back itself. Tell Darani where the problem feels worst and she will build the session around it.
Frequently asked questions
Can massage help a stiff lower back?
For everyday tightness, many people feel looser and more comfortable after a session. Persistent pain, numbness or pain that travels down the leg should be medically assessed first.
Should I book 30 or 60 minutes?
Thirty minutes works well for back-only focus. Sixty minutes lets the session include hips and legs, which often hold the keys to back tension, and produces a longer-lasting result.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing is fine. For oil-based back work you will be draped with a towel and only the area being worked on is uncovered.
